Polish football player Robert Lewandowski was born on August 21, 1988, in the city of Warsaw. It was with his father, Krzysztof Lewandowski, a former Hutnik Warsaw player, that he discovered football. At that time, his father was in charge of training at Partyzant Leszno. Robert Lewandowski was then trained at Varsovia Warsaw as well as in two other clubs: he joined Delta Warsaw in 2005 then Legia Warsaw, shortly after. Robert Lewandowski earns 1.7 million euros per month, or 20 million euros per year. He is the ninth highest paid football player in the world, behind Gareth Bale and ahead of David de Gea. In contract since August 2019, until June 2023, he therefore earns 56,000 euros per day, or 389,000 euros per week. Robert Lewandowski’s salary also shows a good progression, since he was paid 10 million euros per year in 2014. In December 2016, his salary had reached 15 million per year.
