Mercato Mercato – PSG: Should Campos go all out for Skriniar?
For several weeks, Luis Campos has been negotiating with Inter for the transfer of Milan Skriniar, PSG’s defensive priority in this summer transfer window, but discussions are not progressing. The Italian club has no intention of selling off its player while the Parisian team refuses for the time being to match the amount claimed. A justified position?
After Vitinha, Hugo Ekitike and Nordic Mukielethe PSG is about to complete its fourth recruit of the summer in the person of Renato sanches. As revealed to you by le10sport.com, the Portuguese only has eyes for the reigning French champion, forcing the LOSC to make up his mind despite the interest of theAC Milano. Negotiations are progressing and optimism reigns in this file, which could be completed in the coming hours. A trend confirmed this Friday by Oh Jogoannouncing a total agreement between the PSG and the LOSC for Renato sancheswhich could arrive in the capital by Sunday in the form of a loan with a mandatory purchase option estimated at €10m. Luis Fields therefore hits the mark with the 24-year-old midfielder, but the case is much more complicated with another of his priorities.
Skriniar, PSG’s defensive priority
Since the beginning of June, and his appointment as football adviser to the PSG, Luis Fields has set its sights on Milano Skriniar to reinforce the central hinge. A track validated by Christopher Galtier. It must be said that the Slovak has everything good on paper. At 27, the player has established himself as a benchmark for his position in Serie A after his five seasons at theInterand with a contract expiring in June 2023, a departure is in order for him, especially since the Nerazzurri wish to bail out their coffers before the end of the summer transfer window. The door is therefore open for the departure of Skriniarbut that does not mean that the Italian team wants to get rid of its defender.

Inter does not give up and expects up to 80M€
Like with Ashraf Hakimi last summer, theInter is not disturbed by dragging out negotiations with the PSG. The Serie A resident has set his requirements and does not intend to go back on it, demanding a check of between 70 and 80 million euros. On his side, Luis Fields is trying to find a parade in order to lower the amount, as he has been able to do in recent days to Hugo Ekitike Where Nordic Mukiele. The Parisian management does not seem willing to go beyond 55M€ according to the latest trends, and the names of several club players have been mentioned during discussions as part of a possible exchange in which could have been involved Arnaud Kalimuendo or Julian Draxler. But nothing helps,Inter is waiting for his check which would allow him not to be threatened by financial fair play and to be able to bounce back on the market by looking for a replacement.
Who will crack in the Skriniar file?
Luis Campos can be satisfied with not having a real opponent so far in the file Skriniareven though chelsea would stay tuned. A position bringing the PSG to continue the discussions calmly, always with the hope of reaching an agreement which is slow to see the light of day. However, one of the two parties will have to crack to allow the Slovak international to pack up. For his part, the defender would be willing to join the French capital where he expects a comfortable salary of 7.7 million euros net per year according to the Italian press, more than double his current emoluments. However, Skriniar is happy toInter and would not be against the idea of renewing his lease, while contacts have been initiated between the two parties for a five-year extension. Enough to make the outcome of this soap opera very uncertain, where everyone sticks to their positions with the hope of coming out a winner.
So according to you, the PSG should he put the package for Milano Skriniar ? To your votes
